"True art in many ways,
is the
portrayal of remembrances."
-- Eric Sloane
It seems we are most touched by art when it somehow kindles a mood or
a memory that had been stored away in the attic of our mind. Perhaps it
was something we experienced yesterday, or maybe it was many years ago.
It might have been a great event, or just a fleeting moment. But the
remembering evokes pleasure and inspiration, and brings back feelings we
thought we had forgotten. Then we remember what it means to be alive!
Welcome to my art gallery.
On the following pages you will find art that shows a variety of
subjects. There is a gallery showing the American frontier and the
heritage of its early inhabitants, both Native American and European.
Another gallery shows some of the house portraits that I have done, and
gives information on how you can commission a portrait of your own
house, business or historic site. And the last is a gallery of pieces
on a variety of subjects, including landscapes. I offer some prints
for sale and some original pieces.
